We welcome all friendly smaller sized dogs (30 lbs. or less). Dogs must be current on vaccinations and be free of ticks and fleas. All dogs and owners will be briefly interviewed and dogs will be evaluated to assure that they are well suited to the daycare.

All dogs new to our daycare will be evaluated to see that they are well suited to the daycare environment.  Your dog will be taken into a separate room where our staff will observe your dog.  We will be watching for any aggressive or fearful behaviors in addition to positive responses to other dogs.  Owners are not present during the evaluations so that we may better observe the dog’s natural behavior when the owner is not with them.  At the conclusion of the evaluation, if your dog is a good fit for our daycare, we will invite you and your dog back for a free day of daycare for a full day of observations to better assess if the daycare environment will be beneficial for your dog..

Health Requirements

To insure the continued good health of all of our daycare dogs, all dogs in our care are required to show proof of vaccinations, be free of fleas and ticks, and provide a clean fecal exam.

Up to date vaccinations include the following: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella. A fecal exam must have been done within 6 months for dogs younger than 1 year old and annually for dogs older than 1.

Because the daycare environment is an open one (and we can’t have dogs getting too frisky with one another!), dogs 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered.

As we specialize in smaller sized dogs, all dogs 30 pounds or less are welcomed into our daycare and boarding.

Must be at least 4 months of age

Spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age

Favorable evaluation: friendly, social dogs

Current on vaccinations: rabies, Da2PP, bordetella

Fecal exam must be negative for parasites
